Auckland’s Visitor Plan
Auckland Council believes a city that attracts visitors also attracts entrepreneurs and investors, international students, and talented migrants – which in turn provides jobs and an improved standard of living for everyone.
In 2012, the Auckland Visitor Plan estimated the visitor economy to be worth $4.8 billion per annum. We aim to expand this to $7.2 billion per annum by 2021.
