Three Auckland drivers will roar around Hampton Downs this year: Fabian Coulthard, Shane van Gisbergen and Andre Heimgartner. Of course, we wish our other Kiwi drivers - Scott McLaughlin and Richie Stanaway - the best of luck too, and in true Anzac spirit we look forward to seeing what our Aussie rivals have in store for us.
Bring along your budding race car drivers – kids aged 12 and under can go trackside free with a paying adult. There’s also a Kid Zone with a bouncy castle, face painters and balloon artists to help entertain them throughout the day. The ITM Auckland Super400 is a fantastic day out for the family.
A Paddock Pass, which you can purchase on top of your event ticket, gets you into ‘The Paddock’ where all the behind the scenes action takes place.
Get closer to the teams working in the garages with a pit lane walk each day; and the pass allows you to attend the official driver autograph sessions which standard ticket holders can’t access.
Even though the racing isn't in Pukekohe this year, there is still plenty on and plenty to do!
Fuel up for your own action-packed race day with a delicious breakfast or brunch. Or book a dinner table at a local restaurant and relive the day’s dramas with your mates or family while letting the crowd disperse. On Saturday night, don't miss the Chiefs vs Stormers match!
Passionate motorsport fans volunteer for the ITM Auckland Super400 year after year. They know the event back to front and provide the best tips and advice for other fans. From ‘Camp Mums’ to vehicle inspectors – make sure you stop and chat to the people who are the heart and soul of Supercars.
A free shuttle will take you to Hampton Downs from either Pukekohe Park Raceway, or Auckland city centre. Check out the dedicated Ticketek webpage for the most up to date information.
If driving, be prepared for busy roads as large numbers of people will be heading to this exciting event.
The Supercars Fan Day will take place on Thursday, 23 April at the Pukekohe Town Square, from 3.30–6.30pm. This will be an incredible opportunity to meet the Supercars drivers for a special autograph session. Amazing prizes are up for grabs for the best cardboard car creations, and you can treat yourself at one of the food truck options.
Auckland is the place to be for motorsport action in 2020. After the ITM Auckland Super400 start planning the next big racing event - the World Rally Championships returns to Auckland after eight long years! Watch the superstars of the WRC from 3-6 September.
